Messages of Faith

In his powerful first message, Christian asks the all important question, “Are you playing with the world?” He goes on to expose Satan’s traps for God’s children and discusses the evils without that can awaken the evils within.
Have you ever wondered if you are a balanced Christian? Do you struggle to find the rest that Jesus has promised you? Being a balanced person is key to experiencing a closer walk with God. There is in human nature a tendency to run to extremes causing unnecessary pain, confusion and unrest. "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." is the centering invitation that Jesus extends to each one of us. Christian looks into Matthew 11:28 searching for the keys to the Balanced Christian life.
Are you a “Babylistian,” living in carnal security with one and a half feet int he world and a pinky toe in the church? Christian calls us to go all the way with God and reveal our freedom in Him in a revival that will shake the underworld.
This first message in a two-part series seeks to dispel the deep-seated belief that bad things only happen to bad people. Christian enlarges on Job’s experience, urging the growing child of God to flex the faith muscles and take to heart the lessons to be learned through our current trials in preparation for the tribulation to come.
When we start looking at how big our problems are and stop looking at how big our God is, discouragement overwhelms us. Let us look instead to our spiritual Aid in these spiritual battles and gain the character God desires us to develop and the deeper level of communion with Him through the tough trials that come our way. He does not waste our pain.
How do we show that we love Jesus? The greatest proof of the love that we have for Him is that we forsake all others, that we will give Him the gift of a surrendered life. We will renounce whatever He calls us to relinquish. It’s time to go all the way with Jesus.
Just like a stone thrown in a pond creates far-reaching ripples, so do our choices. They impact not only our lives but others’ as well. As Christ interacted with Mary at Simon’s house, we must learn from Him to act in God’s way of love, grace, and mercy. We need to be sensitive to others’ forgiven lives and walk as a forgiven/restored Christian ourselves.
Have you ever tasted that deep peace and rest that God has planned for each of us to constantly experience, when we continue to grow stronger and stronger in Him? There is a peace in knowing there is a way out of the sin problem.
Getting deeply personal, Christian relates a tough trial he was currently experiencing at the time of this recording - a colesteatoma (a tumor of the ear). Offering refreshing drafts of hope and faith from God’s Word, he encourages each listener to imbibe that water Christ presented to the woman at the well, as he and his family were doing through this time of tribulation.
Coby joins Christian in extolling the joys of submitting self to God’s plans and enduring with patience and trust. Prayer is the key. Let us turn to God and agonize in prayer. He will not turn us away empty, but will give us grace.
Christian reads Sister White’s dream of the narrow way. Which road are you on - the narrow or the broad? Let us anchor our faith in Jesus!
Each day, if we choose, we can have a new start with our Savior, our friends, our spouse, our children. Did you know that each of the eight laws of health for our physical being perfectly parallels our needs for our spiritual being?
